It is with great pleasure that we announce Ashley Johnson, Quality Assurance Manager at our Bridger Court facility, as the recipient of the third Waldsafe Challenge Coin. As a member of the Safety Committee and First Responders, she has worked diligently to promote a strong culture of safety throughout the plant.

Since joining Wald Family Foods over five years ago, Ashley has been a leader and constant proponent for improvement at Bridger Court. Early in her career, Ashley’s efforts and desire to uplift others played an integral role in building a strong production team. Her passion for excellence then led her to champion a new role as leader of the quality assurance department. Unsurprisingly, on her very first audit as Quality Assurance Manager, her efforts led the plant to the highest score it has ever received, a score of 97 which is rated “Excellent.”

“Ashley fully embraces our culture of safety. As head of Quality Assurance, a position she lobbied for after being passed over for Production Manager (she even developed an entire improvement plan for the QA department on her own), she understands the importance of SAFE FOOD. You can see her efforts in promoting that culture to everyone else in the plant via her People Are Everything contributions. Not only does Ashley embody our safety culture, but also our Wald culture. You would be hard-pressed to find anyone in the Wald Family Foods organization as positive, high-energy, and driven to help us succeed.”

Thank you, Ashley, for your dedication and passion for the principles we espouse: Safe People, Safe Facilities, Safe Food.  Your efforts are truly appreciated.
