On August 28, 2024, we proudly awarded the second WaldSafe Challenge Coin to Josh Wedel, 1st Shift Packaging Lead at our Bridger Court facility. This recognition highlights Josh’s unwavering commitment to creating and maintaining a safe work environment at Wald Family Foods. With over two years at the company, Josh’s dedication to safety has set a standard for his team and influenced the entire facility.

Josh has been instrumental in maintaining our safety culture, constantly going above and beyond expectations. He regularly volunteers to help other shifts improve their safety and production practices, ensuring that our high standards are upheld across the board. Josh’s leadership in encouraging team members to voice safety concerns and in his role as a qualified designee for training others on our Critical Control Point has been pivotal in keeping our product safe for customers.

“Josh Wedel has played a key role here at Bridger Court in helping maintain our safety culture,” said Ashley Legates-Johnson, Quality Assurance Manager at Bridger Court. “He brings safety concerns to leadership and encourages others to do the same. Josh is an amazing role model for our team, and it is awesome to watch him continue to grow more and more every day.”

We celebrated this milestone alongside some of Josh’s colleagues at Bridger Court, recognizing the impact he has had on the facility’s safety protocols. Congratulations, Josh, on earning the second-ever WaldSafe Challenge Coin. Your hard work and leadership are truly appreciated!
